The 60 villas at JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa are spread across the island, each including a private pool and direct access to the blue lagoon from a wooden deck. Guests can choose between Beach Pool Villas with a garden setting and Overwater Villas built over the lagoon, including a Duplex Overwater Villa with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Villa categories are offered with sunrise or sunset views, and overwater villas are set along a lengthy jetty for privacy.

The resort has five restaurants and three bars, including the treetop Thai restaurant Kaashi and the Italian outlet Fiamma where poolside pizzas are available. For dinner, guests can choose between the main restaurant Aailaa, the Japanese restaurant Hashi & Shiro, and the steakhouse, with additional themed dining like the Maldivian seafood night on the beach. The Rum Baan bar, built into a treehouse, serves signature cocktails from a collection of 98 rums, and the Horizon pool bar offers sunset views from swing seats.

The Family by JW kids' club has a nautical theme with attractions including a pirate ship, and provides supervised activities for children aged 3 to 12. Babysitting and children's meals are available across restaurants, with the kids' club staff arranging lunch and dinner for young guests.

The Luxury Spa by JW has six treatment rooms and a deluxe spa suite that includes a private sauna, steam room, and cold plunge pool. Treatments use Aromatherapy Associates products and include massages, body wraps, facials, and couples' packages with a champagne bath. The adjacent fitness center offers daily yoga and meditation sessions overlooking the ocean, and a gym with cardio machines and free weights.

Located in the Shaviyani Atoll, the resort is reachable only by a 50-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport, with the transfer handled entirely by the hotel. On the island, guests can use free bicycles to explore, or take part in water sports offered by the on-site dive center, including scuba diving, jet skiing, and parasailing. Evening recreation includes a games room with billiards and karaoke, and a library; the resort also operates a photography studio where guests can book a portrait session.
